Fuengirola Bombing Suspects In Court This Week
According to reports in the press the two ETA terrorists accused of placing a car bomb in Fuengirola, Málaga in June 2002 are in court this week, the first case against ETA to be heard following the end of use of violence last week
It is understood that Oscar Zelarain and Andoni Otegi face 146 years in jail if found guilty of the attack that injured six people on the 21st June 2002
It is reported that the oral hearing gets underway this Thursday and Friday ,
The terrorists may also be ordered to pay 100,000 € compensation to those affected in the Fuengirola blast.
According to reports the two suspects are also suspected of placing a bomb in the courts in Tolosa, Guipúzcoa, and also the limpet bomb that was placed under the car of José Javier Múgica.
