ETA Announce End To Their Armed Struggle

According to reports in the press ETA has announced an end to their armed struggle
In a video that was posted on the website of the Basque newspaper Garas at 19.00 tonight they announced they are to end the stuggle for ever 
It isreported that the statement was not unexpected following police cooperation between Spain and France and of having less and less support in the Basque country.
Th announcement comes after a call for ETA to end the armed struggle for good at a peace conference held in San Sebastian on Monday which was attended by former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, former Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern and Norway’s Gro Harlem Bruntland
