Estepona Targets Anti Social Behavior In The Town

The new by-law is expected to be approved soon

According to reports in the press a new by-law has been drawn up the the town hall in Estepona which targets various anti social behavior such as street prostitution,  youngsters drinking in the street, graffiti, unauthorised street peddling and the responsibility of dog owners to clear up after their pets
It is understood the new law bans pwople offering, requesting, negotiating for or accepting paid sexual services in public spaces, particularly within 200 metres of residential or commercial centres and schools
It is understood from the reports people who fail to comply with the regulations will more than likely face fines
It is reported social services will be offering assistance and advice to the local prostitutes on all matters including help in leaving the profession
It is expected the new law will be approved at the next council meeting
