Man Charged With Attempted Sexual Assault Of Young Girl

According to reports in the press a 25 year old man has been orderd to prison without bail by the  magistrate court in  Fuengirola after been charged with the alleged attempted sexual assault of a girl.
It is understood the man, who is of Ukrainian origin who has lived in the area for about 10 years was arrested near the train station in this town on suspicion of an assault on minor last Friday
It is reported that the man is also suspected of similar assaults against five other women 
According to the reports the accused assaulted the young girl who is younger than 12 last Wednesday in the center of Las Lagunas Mijas at around 4PM as the girl returned home from school
The man followed her into the dooway of her home and strucjk her twice in the face before attempting to assault her leaving her needing medical treatment
This man is thought to have carried out similar assaults on the  on the 13th and 14th of this month and  two or three more since last July
