Shoppers Have Lucky Escape As Ceiling Collapses In Antequera Shopping Center

Shoppers at the Veronica de Antequera shopping centre in Antequera had a lucky escape when part of the roof collapsed while the center was still open to the public
The eight square meter section fell from the top floor and then through a gap to the lower floor at about 20.30 last night
There were no reported injuries but the center was evacuated at as precaution.
It is thought that a leak in the air conditioning system was the cause of the collapse although the investigation is still on going.
