According to reports in the press the case against Juan Martín Serón, the Partido Popular Mayor of Alhaurín el Grande has begun in the Malaga Provincial Court
The Mayor Partido is accused of taking backhanders from local businessmen and  faces four and a half years in prison, a 500,000 € fine, and a ban from holding public office for 19 years. if found guilty
