Local Taxi Driver Arrested After Fatal Accident In Fuengirola Last Thursday

The National Police have arrested a driver who allegedly fled the scene after running over a man on Avenida Ramón y Cajal of Fuengirola last Thursday,
 
The accident happened  about 03.15 hours on Avenida Ramón y Cajal at  the corner of Calle Martínez Catena and despite efforts of the emergency services the victim who has been identified as a 49 year old man died following the accident.
 
The man who was arrested on suspicion of negligent homicide and failure to render aid is allegedly a local taxi driver
 
He was identified following investigations by the Police.
