Man Arrested For Alleged Animal Abuse

According to reports in the press Local Police in Campanillas have arresed a man for alleged animal abuse
It is understood the owner of the animal a Spanish water dog called Police after allegedly seeing their neighbour hitting the dog with a stick.
It is reported that when officers arrived on the scene  at 13:00 on the 6th October. thry found a badly injured animal that showed signs of being caught in a trap 
Officers searched the  farm owned by the wife of the detainee who has been named as  Rafael GH nd discovered five traps along with bones and  blood that presumably  could come from other animals
The animal had to be put down following the abuse
