Government Announce Rental Agreements Changes
New changes in rental agreements have been announced by the Government
Thew main change is that the maximum duration of a rental contract has been reduced to four years from the previous eight years
Landlords now only need to give two months notice if they wish to reclaim the property
Another change is that forced extensions have been reduced to three years from five years
In addition to these changes a reduction in tax payed by people who sell their property was announed last Friday following a cabinet meeting.
