Foreign Visitor Spending In Andalucia Increases
According to figures released by the Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo foreign tourism revenue in Andalusia rose by nearly 17% to over 404 million euros in November
In Contrast to the 1.1% decline across Spain , the figures show that in Andalucia spending has risin 1,2% in the first 11 months of 2012.
Up until November foreign tourists spent 7.772 million euros in the first 11 months representing 14.7% of total revenues in Spain meaning Andalusia ranks as the fourth largest domestic destination with financial contributions from international travelers, preceded by Catalonia, Balearic and Canary Islands.
Across the whole of Spain revenues exceeded 52,800 million,
The data shows that over the first 11 months Foreign tourists came to Andalusia with a budget of 1,065 euros per person,, an increase of 3.2% over the first eleven months of 2011. This means that each passenger spend a average of 98 euros per day during their trip
In November the data shows that on average passengers came 7.772 million euros
