Large Price Increase On Local Trains In Malaga

 The Spanish Railway company RENFE have raised the ticket prices on the Local train service on the Costa Del Sol
The price of  a single ticket between Malaga and Fuengirola will now cost 3.35 Euros risoiong from 2.95 Euros.
Another change is that it is no longer cheeper to biy a return ticket. Prior to the increase a return ticket would cost 2.50 but now it will cost 6.70, a rise of  nearly 49%
 On a positive note the company have launched BONOTREN a   new system for commuters and frequent travelers which is a 10 trip coupon which is valid for one month and costs 23.45 euros on the route Málaga-Fuengirola, 
Monthly Card holders do not benifit from ther new sytem
