Woman Faces Charges After Driving The Wrong Way Along The Motorway

According to reports in the press firefighters from Mijas chased and helped stop a driver who was spoted driiving the wrong way along the A-7 motorway early on Monday morning
It is understood from the reports the fire crew were returnibg from a call when the spotted the car driving in the wrong direction . The followed the car with their sirens and lights flashing to warn oher drivers
It is reported that the car was eventually stoped  10 kilometres later on the road to Coín after leaving the motorway adter another fire crew and Police joined the chase
The driver who  has been identified as a 45 year old Spanish woman is now facing drink driving charges , Police also found marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy tablets when they searched her car.
