Pit Bull Owner Ordered To Pay Compensation To Dog Attack Victims Parents

The owner  of the dog was fined for not having the correct insurance for his animal

The owner of a pitt-bull who escaped from the family home and bit a child have been ordered to pay 8,125 euros to the parents of the child for injuries suffered during the attack in Alhaurin de la Torre  on May 5, 2010, at around 2300 hours
 
The owner of the dog was also fined 150 Euros for failiure to take out a liability insurance policy that covers personal and material damages to third parties covering not less than 175,000 euros per claim that all owners of potentially dangerous dogs are required to sign.
