Seventh La Cala GolfWorld Open

The stunning La Cala Resort in Mijas Costa played host to the seventh La Cala GolfWorld Open at the end of November
 
More than 80 players from Spain, Ireland, England, Scotland, the Netherlands, Russia, Germany, Finland, Italy, Malaysia and the United States to part in the 54-hole event using all three of La Cala courses
 
Steve Hooper from Essex in England outplayed all the others after finishing on 101 points which was the same as the 2007  winner, Rory Gilsenan  but took the title due to his handicap level.He was presented with his prize by last year’s winner, Liam Marnane from Dublin, Ireland
 
All the players praised the resort for hosting a well organized event along with the courses themselves and the hospitality
