Man Shot By Police During Car Chase Through The Streets Of Malaga

A man has been shot by Police following a chase through the streets of Malaga.
The chain of events that led to the man been shot began just after seven yesterday evening in the Bailén-Miraflores area of the capitol .
Two people in a Renault Express van were ordere to stop at a National Poice checkpoint that had been set up but instead of stoping the driver of the van sped off.Police pursued the van through several streets for around 10 minutes before managing to stop the vehicle at the junction of Camino de Suárez and Calle Barón de Les. However the driver of the van attempted to flee again and Police opened fire.
Police stopped the vehicle again in calle Barón de Les close to the junction at Martínez de la Rosa.after the driver drove around the block,This time Police managed to arrest the two men who were inside the van.
A man of 37 years who was reported as driving the vehicle, was taken to the Carlos Haya Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg
