Drowning Woman Rescued By Malaga Police

According to reports in the press Police in Malaga saved a young woman who nearly drowned on a beach in Malaga
It is understood from the reports the  21 year old who apparently had been drinking alcohol with three other young people at around 03.40 on Sunday morning .got into difficulty after going into the water.
It is reported a Local Police patrol was stopped by a man and they began searching the water with their flash lights . The woman was spotted about 100 meters from the shore calling for help.
According to the reports one of the officers entered the water and rescued the victim
The officer performed first aid on the victim and then the woman was transferred to a hospital where he underwent several tests before been discharged
It is understood the woman also had several jellyfish stings
