Police Arrest Ex-Mayor Of Ronda

According to reports in the press the ex Socialist Mayor of Ronda, Antonio María Marín Lara has been arrested by Police
It is understood from the reports six other people have been arrested and the Town Hall was searched earlier today as part of an investigation into perversion of the course of justice, bribery, influence peddling, misuse of public funds, document falsification and money laundering
It is reported that Francisco Cañestro, a provincial deputy and Secretary of the PSOE in Ronda who used to hold the tourism portfolio, María José Martín de Haro the ex town planning councillor and Rafael Lara, ex councillor for the economy and safety were amoung those arrested
