Forest Fire Breaks Out Near To Ojén

A forest fire broke out in an area of cork trees close to Ojén earlier today. The two acre affected was an area that was saved in the massive fire in August and Spetember of last year.
The fire broke out in an area known as Sierra Parda Cordobachina at around 1745 and the news is that it was brought under control by 2015.
Fire crews from several neighboring towns like Marbella, Mijas and even Vélez-Málaga Civil Protection, Local and National Police along with two helicopters fought the fire but were hampered by strong winds
The area affcted did not include any residential zones and no evacuations were needed
